Born April 11 1981 in Nashville TN
Music Aspiration:
Began writing secular HipHop style music in 1995 as a
freshman in high school at Hillwood High in Nashville. Not satisfied with
secular music creation & beginning to lose interest in secular music
period, he decided to try to write a Christian based song for an event that was
being setup for Vacation Bible School at Westwood Baptist Church University
Center in Nashville. He soon began to plan for an album project he titled HE'S
ALIVE. In April of 1997 He recruited most of his live in step relatives as well
as His sister for his second album project writings for the planned album, MY
SHEPHERD. He called the group, Tha Militia Of GOD. It consisted of the Core
group members, A Cheatom aka THE SHEPHERD, D Cheatom aka THE DEACON, V Owens
aka VIK CROSS, R V Love aka SANCTUARY MARY (which was later changed to S3-V)
& J Love aka S3-J.
At this point, he & Vik Cross came up with future titles of the label &
production firm for the group. It was titled Pass Me Tha Cross records. Over
time this has been changed. In 2002, the label setup was changed to 1LOVE VAULT
Entertainment. Then in 2004, the Thundastorma Productions title was added to
the album production planning phases. In 2011 all the titles were reset &
all references to secular music production were removed following a prick in
the heart of Prophetician by his allied Music Minister, MO-Betta. It currently
is titled 1LOVE VAULT Ministries with the production & publishing
unit; Pass Me Tha Cross Productions. He registered as a writer/producer
with BMI in November 2012. Label registration for Limited Liability Company through
Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) is set to begin in 2016 as the new chapter in
our music ministry mission unfolds!
His likes & influences before he began to step away from secular music
included primarily the rapper Mystikal & secondarily the music group Triple
Six Mafia. The instrumentals used by 3-6 Mafia in their music as well as the
rap style of Mystikal were said to be the styles he used early in his run with
rapping.
Ministry Aspiration:
Since 1997, he has recruited several others with
similar mind in music for Christ. As time progressed he continued to plan &
write album projects. In 1997, Tha Militia Of GOD had its 1st music ministry
concert. The 2nd didn't come until February of 1998. In June 1999, the 3rd
event came. After that, He went into Job Corps. Upon completion of this, he
went into the U S Marine Corps. During all this time, he continued writing
& planning album projects. He setup a 5 & 10 year album release plan
for the original M.O.G. members. As time progressed, members fell away from the group & it seemed as though his vision would not get to see light.
In 2004 after he got out of the Marines, he acquired a music production program
that was entirely independent of specific equipment. With
this program he could create all the instrumentals for album projects in house.
At this point his fire re-ignited for music Christian based creation. He began
writing & planning again as well as making beats for album production. Late
in 2006 he began recording for project purposes.
In time he began to study The Revelation & correlating scriptures his
lyrical content moved from Praise & Adoration to prophetic education based
on an objective study & outlook of the soon to come events in Revelation.
As time has progressed he now pushes music as the Spirit gives it to him, able
to interpret prophecy & provide praise in lyrical form.
Music Production / Catalog:
In 2007 he began in full earnest to create the
album project PRAISES THRU PRAYER. He
brought Prayze Time & S3-J into the project as they were the only people
able to be reached. It consists of 14 tracks with Prayze Time featuring on 3
tracks & S3-J rapping on 1 & featuring on 1. The project was recorded
at the residence with no actual equipment including no studio or performance
microphone. He operated on extreme budget to get it done. Because of this &
being shorted on people for certain songs, the full vision was not realized
& quality suffered as a result. It was released in 2007
After he was done with the 1st album project he began work on the 2nd called HE'S ALIVE. He brought the Spiritual Servant
Souljahz S3-V & S3-J, Christ-Lyke & the old E-Clan personnel, Mr
Chizzle & Short Man onto the project for the Militia Song. In this project
he has access to more instruments for the beats than before. It consists of 14
tracks with the Militia Song at track 7. This project was also recorded at the
residence with no studio equipment. The full vision was shorted the strength it
should've had due to low quality. It was released in 2008.
Then he began working on the 3rd project called CHAPTA
III (To The End). Despite several attempts to reach people for the
project he couldn't get anyone to commit to getting the work done. He still
pushed 14 tracks recorded at his residence with no studio equipment & a
performance microphone. The full vision suffered from low quality (which was
better than the 2 previous albums). It was released in 2009.
After that he began working on several album projects at once, planning &
the implementing the plan for the album LIFE
OVER DEATH. He was also still unable to reach people for the project
& began working on it solo again. It had 12 tracks recorded at his
residence with only the performance microphone. The system being used to record
was on its way out & caused quality to suffer greatly reducing the strength
of the vision significantly. It was released & then pulled in 2010.
Then he worked to complete his 5th album project called OPERATION: KINGDOM GOSPEL (The Great Commission). He brought in
Yung B Da Baptist & MO-Betta. It consists of 12 tracks with Mo-Betta
rapping on track 7 & Yung B Da Baptist rapping on track 8. It was recorded
between the residence & a studio & released in October 2011.
Then he worked to complete his 6th album project called PROPHETYK PRAYZE. This was set to be his
flagship music ministry project. He has brought in Prayze Time, S3-V, E-Clan,
our allied ministry kinfolk - SSnLITE Ministries & Veronique. It
consists of 14 tracks with Prayze Time doing both vocals & rapping as well.
It features 2 bonus tracks from the soon to follow Spiritual
Warfare
compilation album by Tha Militia Of GOD. It was recorded @ the PMTC HQ studio.
It was released in November 2012.
Afterwards, he completed the compilation Tha Militia Of GOD -
SPIRITUAL WARFARE . ITs a variety of Christian music styles compiled into a 2 disc set with 28 tracks & is the pinnacle of the operational capacity of The Unified International Organization of Tha Militia Of GOD. It was released in September 2013.
As well, he has broadcast to the world the fullness of his endtime Prophecy studies in his solo project SOUL HARVEST, released in April 2014.
In between albums he began releasing singles for the 1st of 3 EPs with videos for the Enter The SLAWTER Fields EP!
Then he released the premiering project CORE RENOVATION, released in March 2016. It follows his fall into satans trap & his rise above with Christ!
Afterwards he released the prime project ANY LAST WORDS, in April 2017. This revisits endtime prophecy & current life in society!
He then released the full compilation THE SLAWTER FIELDS in November 2018 after its 2nd EP release Traverse the SLAWTER Fields in June.
He then moved to release the project WEAPONS OF MASS SALVATION, in April of 2019 based heavily on studies of endtime prophecy & the roles of the 7 churches.
After that, he pushed the project THA FINAL CHAPTA, in April of 2020, assuming this to be his last music project as the issues with a renewed group effort failure placed strong discouragement on him.
Next he released the EP UNFINISHED BUSINESS, a singles project with multiple videos at end of October 2021.
After that, he pushed the project JESUS THUNDA, EP projects in June & December 2022, releasing the EPs separately for free streaming then combined as an album at the end of the year.
He intends to finally end specific music production with the 2023 compilation project LET THERE BE FIGHT, choosing to continue operating in ministry outside of music with the exception of collaboration features with certain artists! There is 1 single planned for 2024 & 1 planned for 2025. Then a remastered release of all prayer songs written & released over the 30 year period in 2026, titled THE RADIO RECON PROJECT! As well there may be a remastered release of all militia/clan songs from the 30 year period titled PAX AETERNA!
Correlating Music/Ministry Endeavors:
His original vision was to provide an outlet of praise in a form not yet big in churches, or ministry in general nor on the market at the time in 1997. To accomplish this, He intended to fuse Holy HipHop with old school Gospel choir songs & Had a plan to do so. Frustrated at the failure of his church home to assist in its possibility, he stuck to the Christian Rap style music for the next decade. In the last few years he has shifted back to the original vision thought processes & began an endeavor to see it to completion.
